Cloisonne´with Creativity, Design, and Self-Expression
April 15-19 (Monday-Friday)
Level: Experienced/Ricky's approval required
This workshop is more about "how to use" your enamel skills " than "how to learn" new ones. Using the skills and knowledge you already have, we will use the natural beauty of the local landscape (specifically the beach and coast) to learn how to make choices about what we make based on how we respond to what we see.
We will learn how to see, think, and create from new perspectives using our current enamel vocabulary and stretching out of our comfort zones to create new and exciting images based upon what visual images we find to be meaningful to us. Week Two
Some Enameling Skills You Will Learn
|
Who is this for? This workshop is for students who already have some basic skills (including cloisonne´) and want to improve their skills, develop some new enamel vocabulary, and focus more on how to "use what you know" so that you can make more meaningful and creative cloisonne´ pieces. Emphasis will be on learning how to TRANSLATE what you see in your environment or in your imagination and "make it in enamel". |
